You make the whole story, as you and up to three other players move into a town and just live life. Befriend your animal neighbors, decorate your house with cool furnishings, fill up your wardrobe, get to know the local wildlife, hop on a bus to visit the new city and just explore the world. There are a million different ways to play. Every charming animal character has a personality: some are grouches while others are chatterboxes. And there's no final goal or high score to hit. The game keeps going for as long as you want to play, and your town will always be there when you return. Move into town, buy a house and then do whatever you want. Time and seasons pass as they do in the real world, so there's always something different happening. Collect more than 2,400 items, go fishing for rare and interesting fish, catch all kind of cool bugs, dig up dinosaur fossils and buried treasure, hang out with other players or spend the day in the city. There's so much to do, and you have all the time in the world to explore it all. DS Suitcase Mode The DS Suitcase lets you carry your character from your Wii console to a friend's, thus giving people without an Internet connection the ability to experience multiplayer modes. Additionally, you can move your character from Animal Crossing: Wild World on Nintendo DS and play as him/her in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Key Game Features
There's Always Something New To Do: In the living, breathing world of Animal Crossing: City Folk, days and seasons pass in real time, so there's always something to discover. Catch fireflies in the summer, go trick-or-treating on Halloween or hunt for eggs on Bunny Day. If you're in the mood for something a little faster paced, take a bus to a new urban city area that's unique to Animal Crossing: City Folk. There you can catch a show at the theater or check out the sales at Gracie's boutique. But if you don't show your face back home for too long, your neighbors will miss you. Play With and Hear Up to Four Friends: Up to four people from your household can live and work together to build the perfect town. Design clothes and patterns, write letters and post messages on the bulletin board for each other, or play online using your broadband connection and invite up to three friends to visit your town using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. With the new optional Wii Speak microphone (sold separately), it's like you're all in the same room. The microphone sits atop the sensor bar and picks up the conversation of everyone in the room to encourage a more inclusive experience. Get to Know Your Neighbors: The heart of Animal Crossing: City Folk is building relationships with the animals in your town as well as with other players. Befriend your animal neighbors by exchanging letters, gifts and favors. Animals can also move from town to town, bringing their memories and stories from their old towns with them. And since animals are notoriously loose-lipped, they spill all the juicy details. Express Your Personal Style: Customize your town, your house and yourself by collecting bugs, fish, fossils, art, furniture, clothes and accessories. You can also go to the salon in the city to change your hairstyle and get a Mii makeover. Plus, if you design clothes in the tailor's shop, animals will wear them and maybe even bring them to other towns. Your Neighbors
Familiar faces such as K.K. Slider, Tom Nook, Blathers and Mr. Resetti all appear, as well as a bunch of new characters like Festivale host Pavé and Bug-Off judge Bud. Many characters who occasionally visited your town in previous Animal Crossing games have now set up permanent shop in the city, so you can see them anytime. Special Powers, Weapons, Moves & Features: Use the Wii Remote pointer to type letters, use items, draw designs for clothing or wallpaper, drag clothing or items onto your characters, interact with animals or objects, or lead your character around the world. Use Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to hang out in real time with up to three of your friends. You can also send them e-mails and text messages from the game. Play at different times of the year to experience different activities, holidays and seasons. And when visiting a friend in another country, experience the holidays native to their culture. Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Up to four people can play together in real time via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. The host opens his or her gate to allow friends into the town, where they can perform all sorts of activities: fish, write letters to townsfolk, shop at the store, swap items, play hide-and-seek ... anything. Up to four players can interact in real-time, communicating via text chat, mic chat and emoticons. WiiConnect24: Using WiiConnect24, you can buy and sell items to friends by participating in silent auctions, view actual players' homes in the Happy Room Academy office or send letters to other players' towns.

What Customers Say About Animal Crossing: City Folk:

You pick fruits, fish, pull up weeds, and have pointless one-sided conversationlettes with the locals. Animal crossing, like its predecessor games, is a sandbox. I don't feel like they gave us much to do in the sandbox, though.Pro -You can play online with your friends having conversations. It's just better than the nothing they put out last time.

In the Harvest Moon series there are several ways to feel like you are making progress, be it socially, financially, moving the plot along, romantically. This has nothing. No, the new option to get a perm is not development. There is no character development.

The speaker function is very handy.nice enough graphicsfriendlier people than its last incarnation (fewer insulting and grumpy characters you wish would move out)The game responds to your weather, so if it's raining where you are, it is in the game too.Con - There's. play hide and seek. There is no plot, no points, no progress except for what you define. It is what you make of it. You bring your friends/family over to visit and.

to do. This is why we got the game, so we could play with distant family and chat. nothing.

Here's a game hint to move along faster in the game learn to manipulate the day and the time on the game because if you don't it will take forever believe me. So buy this game because it is exciting and alot of fun to play. OK Let me start off that this game rocks. it is awesome.

This is a really fun game that continues to keep my interest the longer I play.

It's a blast. You can never get bored with it. You can also visit your friends and go to their towns via the Wii Wifi system. I really love this game. I highly reccommend this to anyone looking for something fun, but chill. There are no time constraints, no fear of death, and no anxiety involved in this game. It's so addictive, but entirely relaxing. There is always something new and surprising happening.

I always win =) Im disspointed i dont get any prize or anything. The fruits are the same and so are the bugs and fishes. Its pretty much like all the other AC versions of this game. Plus if u have never played animal crossing let me just tell ya: a common fish is worth a T-shirt, and 2 really really rare fish is worth a small house in AC. There is tons of Mario stuff in this game, the balloons and presents have mario stuff which is soo much easier than glitching the game. In the city there is also a shop with the fortune teller, so u can see ur fortune every day. Instead he works at the City with his own place. I got it a year ago when it first came out on my birthday and it is just incredible.

The cool thing is that on ur wii u can make a wii mii and u can make ur character on AC to look exactly like ur mii. HERE IS ONE THING YOU NEED TO KNOW: Lyle doesn't come to your house every saturday like in the ds game. u can feed it fruit but u dont have 2. He runs the Happy Room Academy and picks the best room in my town about every month or so.

LOL. Theres tree's all around my house so its really pretty. Just play this game because it will really calm u down. so thats how easy it is and the best part YOU DONT HAVE TO FEED YOUR CHARACTER. your person will remain alive forever.

Its a secret on how to get it though. thats the best part and u can never finish ur game. Im only 12 and I LOVE THIS GAME. There are also silver tools other than gold tools and regular tools. especially the fossils because the fossils part has an upstairs. Tom Nook is the same pretty much. such as the silver shovel, the silver shovel gives u more money when u hit a rock. This is pretty much like regular life except A WHOLE LOT EASIER so when ur sad and getting down or stressed.

I have the DS game too so i was sooo eager to get the wii version. Plus if your stressed at a neighbour at town. I wish animals auctioned stuff too. This game is awesome and reallly fun and i recommend this to all ages. K.K. it never dies. the thing is u cant bid for anything, because only u or a friend can auction things which sucks.

I got my house on the upper level where its on the edge of the upper level. The graphics are much much much better than ds and gc. u can just talk to Pelly and she'll sort it all out. I LOVE HOW U DONT HAVE TO SHARE A HOUSE and how the houses are all scattered around town just like our animal neighbours. slide still comes every saturday night and whats cool is that the whole museum is about 2 times bigger than the ds version. There is also an auctioning place so u can auction something. I was really young when i had the ds game and i actually got very afraid to play the game on saturdays because of a nightmare i had.

But just like in the ds (idk about gc) Her fortunes dont mean anything.
